Setting Up Your VPN Connection in Microsoft Windows XP
1. Go to "Start" -> "Connect To" -> "Show all connections"
2. Click - "Create a new connection" located in "Network Tasks" tab
3. "Next"
4. Choose "Connect to the network at my workplace" and click "Next"
5. Choose "Virtual Private Network connection" and click "Next"
6. Type in how would you like to name the new connection
7. Type in you server's or firewall's IP address as provided by VI Support Team
8. Press "Next"
9. Press "Finish"
10. Go to "Properties"
11. "Networking" tab
12. Select "Internet Protocol" and click "Properties"
13. Click "Advanced"
14.
Untick
"Use default gateway on remote network"
15. Click four times "OK" and type in your username and password (as supplied by VI Support Team) to start the connection.
